The fall issue of Garnet and Black magazine hit the metaphorical stands today. Garnet and Black is USC’s quarterly magazine produced entirely by students. This is the first time I’ve ever designed for the magazine, and while this probably isn’t the greatest thing I’ve ever designed, it’s still pretty cool to see my work in print.
I’m really glad I’ve gotten involved in the magazine this semester. It definitely feels like a step in the right direction.

My name is Ashley McGarry. I'm a junior Visual Communications major, minoring in graphic design at the University of South Carolina. This blog serves as a visual diary for the Advanced Photo-visual Communications class I will be taking this semester as a way to catalog my inspiration and record my progress.
