A Visual Diary

My name is Ashley McGarry. I'm a junior Visual Communications major, minoring in graphic design at the University of South Carolina. This blog serves as a visual diary for the Advanced Photo-visual Communications class I will be taking this semester as a way to catalog my inspiration and record my progress.

  1. This is the most recent design project I’ve taken on. A few friends of mine decided to start organizing weekly bike rides around Columbia. They wanted to print spoke cards and stick them in the spokes of nice bikes they spotted around campus as a way to promote their rides. Hopefully it will help promote their group to like-minded cyclists who go to USC or are in the downtown area. I’m still working out some of the kinks, but this is what I have currently.
For a girl who hardly rides her rickety 70s Schwinn, I sure have been working with bicycles a lot lately.  This is the most recent design project I’ve taken on.
